Join Courtney Swain for an interactive workshop and performance exploring creative uses of effects pedals — especially in combination with the voice. We’ll talk about techniques for singing with more ease, ideas for live vocal processing, and ways to open up your improvisation practice using pedals as collaborators. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting to explore sound, this workshop welcomes curious musicians of all backgrounds.

Come with your voice, your questions, and your favorite pedals (if you have them — not required!). Depending on who’s in the room, we’ll shape the focus together, leaving plenty of room for experimentation, questions, and collaborative play.

The event will close with a performance and Q&A.
