25.02.2024 Build Laran Fuzz from Gorva & MAE

This is a beginner-friendly workshop for people who would like to learn soldering and pedal assembly. No prior experience required! We will be building Laran, a fuzz pedal from MAE and Gorva.

After the workshop you will have all the resources and knowledge to build most of the through-hole pedal or synth kits. You are welcome to use the tools at the shop, as well as our DIY link library.

LARAN

LARAN is the first DIY kit from Gorva Design. Made in collaboration with Mask Audio Electronics of Pittsburgh, this is a premium kit suited to a range of people from first-time builders to experienced solderhands. A full-bodied fuzz packed with top-of-the-line Gorva audiophile components. It tears down the common muff and rebuilds it to be bigger and meaner. A MOSFET input stage slams two additional clipping stages for an effect that can add up to a mild, crisp overdrive to full on “Make amp go BRRRRRRRR” fuzz.
